July 25th Summer Event Ticket - Dodge City, KS
A full day built for women who are serious about their role in agriculture, their leadership, and where they’re headed next.
This isn’t a sit-in-a-room-and-listen kind of event. This is a full Southwest Kansas experience. You’re moving, seeing, asking questions, and getting real exposure to how this industry actually operates across this part of the state.
From the first stop of the day to the last stop that night, everything is designed to give you a deeper understanding of the industry and a stronger connection to the women in it.
What This Day Looks Like
The day begins at 8:45 AM at Central Station Bar & Grill in Dodge City.
This is where you’ll park for the day, check in, and load the bus. We will depart promptly at 9:00 AM, so please plan to arrive on time. We have a full day planned and a lot of ground to cover.
From there, you’ll spend the day moving through multiple parts of the industry, not just hearing about them.
First Industry Tour
We’ll start the day by traveling to High Plains Ponderosa Dairy in Plains, Kansas.
On the way, Carl Clawson and Paige Harding will share about Southwest Kansas agriculture practices, current trends, and give an introduction to High Plains Ponderosa Dairy.
Once we arrive, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at a sector of the industry many people do not often get access to. This stop will give attendees a deeper understanding of dairy production, regional agriculture, and how operations in Southwest Kansas are adapting and growing.
Lunch
After the dairy tour, we’ll pick up boxed lunches from The Bar in Plains before heading to our next stop.
Lunch will be built into the travel portion of the day, giving you time to eat, visit, and continue conversations with the women around you.
Second Industry Tour
From Plains, we’ll travel to Gardiner Angus Ranch near Ashland, Kansas.
On the bus, Holly Martin with American Angus will speak and help connect the dots between the day’s tours, industry leadership, and the bigger picture of beef production.
At Gardiner Angus Ranch, attendees will get a firsthand look at one of the most recognized seedstock operations in the industry. This tour will provide insight into genetics, cattle marketing, ranch operations, and the role operations like this play in moving the beef industry forward.
On-the-Bus Conversations
The time in between stops is part of the experience.
Throughout the day, you’ll hear real conversations about the realities of ranching, farming, cattle production, and agribusiness in this region. From resource challenges to operational decisions to industry trends, these conversations are designed to make the travel time valuable, practical, and engaging.
Built-In Time to Connect
This day is intentionally designed to avoid surface-level networking.
Between travel, tours, lunch, dinner, and the evening events, you’ll have real time to connect with women who are building careers, businesses, and operations in agriculture.
You’ll have time to ask questions, share ideas, and build relationships with women who understand the industry because they are living it too.
Dinner + Evening Experience
After the tours, we’ll return to Central Station Bar & Grill in Dodge City around 4:30 PM.
You’ll have a quick turnaround before dinner begins at 5:30 PM.
Dinner will include a starter salad, steak, baked potato, vegetable, and roll. Tea and water will be served, and a cash bar will be available.
This is your space to slow down, process what you saw throughout the day, and continue conversations with the group.
And then, if you want the full experience, the night keeps going.
Flatland Cavalry Concert
Following dinner, we’ll head to the Flatland Cavalry concert at United Wireless Arena as part of Dodge City Days.
7:00 PM | United Wireless Arena | Dodge City, KS
Transportation will be provided to the concert, making it a seamless transition from dinner into the evening.
Your ticket includes access to a reserved seating section, along with the ability to move down to the floor during the concert, giving you flexibility to experience it however you want.
After the concert, the bus will bring everyone back to Central Station Bar & Grill.
There will also be an optional afterparty with live music for those who want to keep the night going. The afterparty singer will be announced soon. Attendees are welcome to stay for the afterparty or head home after the concert.
We have also reserved additional concert and afterparty tickets. If you’d like to invite a spouse or guest to join you for the evening, you can purchase an evening events only ticket option.
Optional Pre-Event
For those coming into Dodge City on Friday, there is also an optional opportunity to attend the Cattle Marketing Hall of Fame Dinner on Friday, July 24.
This is not included in your KCW ticket, and attendees will need to purchase tickets separately.
If we have a group of KCW women attending, we will coordinate through the WhatsApp group and do our best to sit together.
